missing you

It has been some time now that you have been gone, and each day that goes by I talk to you and tell you how much you are missed and loved. Every day I hope that I will make you proud, and everyday I remember those awesome physics classes. I remember one day when you were wheeling your moveable class room cart up the ramp and you were pushing it so hard, we laughed. I remember everything, which makes it hard sometimes because I wish that there could be more memoried made. This year I had the privilege to be the recipient of your memorial scholarship, it was the only one that meant the world to me. I promise to make you proud and your wonderful family. Thank you so much for being in my life, no matter how long. I miss you everday and love you even more.
yours truely,
Olivia Hoermann

Congratulations on winning her scholarship. I am sure she is beaming knowing that she is helping someone further their education. I am a teacher too and we would always share school stories with one another. She always commented on how much fun she had with you guys. You know she is looking down on all of you. Good luck!

Hi Olivia,
thank you for taking time out to write and giving you that scholarship was the best thing in the world for me to honor Shannons memory. She so enjoyed teaching your class and I know she had a special spot in her heart for you. I remember her telling me the story about the cheerleading uniform and she thought that she was pretty funny! I guess she really was..
I too miss her every single day.. but keep her memory alive and I know you will do amazing things in this world. You are a very special person..don't ever forget that.
I love to hear the stories about Shannon so please feel free to share whenever you feel like it.. that is how we will keep her alive ...by sharing our stories..
She would like that.

Oh my gosh, there are so many funny stories to tell from our class. We were her first class of the day so she would always come to class with a huge cup of "caawffee". haha. She was probably the only person I know that can draw a horse and a dog for a stick figure explanation of something. It was awesome. They were really good too. She said that it was all the years in college, it gave her practice. She always made the best out of everything, even the jerks in the class. There was this germ-x bottle on the desk in the front of the room, I swear she must have used in 10 time during the class period, I remember kala(my friend) and i laughing at her and she would say "I don’t even know why I uses this stuff I don’t even like it" and she would be saying it as she was putting it on. When the MTV show came to Winnacunnet she told all of her students that she wanted one of them to win so that when they were following one of us around we could walk next to her at the end of the day and be like "ooo Ms.Kiernan your books look so heavy let me help you to your car!" so we would walk with her to her car so MTV would see her "snazzy" Saturn and she would get on pimp my ride. haha! I remember when she would tell us that she would rather get a horse then an engagement ring, I always thought that was cool. She was a cool gal, very cool. I remember the day she pulled me outside the room and was like “hheeyy you’re a cheerleader…can I borrow your uniform?” I was like what?!? Why. She told me it was top secret. The memories make me smile, I hope that some of them will bring one to anyone’s face who reads this.:-)
